Conference Overview:

A myriad of challenges face Arizona's postsecondary education sector including explosive growth of the college-aged population, a lack of student college readiness, a high proportion of adults without a college degree, institutional capacity limitations, and lack of student access and success.

This one and one-half day conference is designed to provide the opportunity for policy makers, educators, business leaders, students, college access and transition professionals, and all who have an interest in Arizona's economic future to

  • examine critical and current Arizona-specific data,
  • review recent policy initiatives,
  • learn about successful Arizona college access and transition programs,
  • preview the 2008 legislative agenda,
  • examine existing student financial aid policy, and
  • participate in a dialogue about the impact of each of these issues on the development of Arizona's human capital.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for policy makers and leaders in business and education to consider the Arizona postsecondary education system as it relates to developing Arizona's human capital.
